Assistant Account Manager

Reports To: The [Assistant Account Manager] will report to [Sales Manager].

Job Overview: The primary job responsibility of the assistant account manager is to manage the key clients of the company and maintain a healthy relationship with them.

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  • Generating and qualifying leads from cold calling/desktop research
  • Managing, tracking and following up on leads by calling them
  • Conducting sales/product presentations over the phone/meetings
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly sales goals/targets in accordance with set goals
  • Creating and updating activity reports
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Maintain Sales Database on a daily basis
  • Suggest in marketing / promotional ideas for the company’s services
  • Suggest useful digital platform present the company’s products and services to boost the sales
  • Manage the Company’s relations with your accounts/clients
  • Support in the development of marketing collaterals

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing will be added advantage
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
