Project Associate
GCSS Inc. is looking for a Project Associate in the area of Sustainability to assist its clients in preparing their sustainability reports. The Associate Consultant will support the Associate and Lead Consultant in delivering projects for the clients and will be accountable to handle the project. This is a client facing role and the person should have excellent behavioral and communication skills and is willing to travel.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist senior consultants in developing sustainability strategies and goals for clients
- Collect and analyze sustainability data to support the development of sustainability reports
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, reporting standards, and regulations
- Help clients prepare sustainability reports that align with recognized reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB)
- Provide guidance to clients on how to communicate sustainability performance effectively
- Collaborate with senior consultants to identify opportunities for improvement in clients’ sustainability practices
- Participate in meetings with clients to present sustainability findings and recommendations
- Develop content materials related to sustainability as and when needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Basic / Clear understanding & experience in GRI Standards and Sustainability Reporting.
- Enthusiastic in learning more and developing skills in the area of sustainability.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients is added advantage.
- Outstanding verbal and communication skills.
- Team Player and Self-Motivated.
- Bachelors Degree – Environment Science or related area.
- Certifications in Sustainability and Reporting will be added advantage.
- Fresh Graduates willing to grow in the area of Sustainability are welcome to apply.
